Dr. Jorge Garayúa is an Internal Medicine physician who has practiced Internal Medicine in the Central Florida area for 10 years. He is also wound care certified by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO). He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Garayúa completed his bachelors degree in biology at the Puerto Rico University in Rio Piedras, studied medicine in UCC School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residence at Dr. Ramon Ruiz Arnau University Hospital. In 2007 he moved to Orlando, years later, after working in a group practice, he established his own clinic. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, and American Medical Association. He is a firm believer that the key to a healthy life is to stay active, proper nutrition, and minimize stress. During his free time, he likes to spend time with his family, and participate in running and cycling events.
